This wired mechanical keyboard, developed through a collaboration between Akko and Hello Kitty, offers a 96% layout, incorporating a number pad for greater versatility while still conserving desk space.
The 3096 keyboard is available with a range of switch options, including Akko’s 2nd Gen Blue, Orange, and Pink switches, as well as TTC Gold Pink, TTC Gold Brown, TTC Gold Red, Gateron Yellow, and Akko CS Sakura switches. Each switch type offers unique characteristics to cater to different preferences. For example, the Akko 2nd Gen Blue switch is clicky with an operating force of 50 ± 5gf and a tactile force of 60 ± 5gf, while the Akko 2nd Gen Pink switch is a linear option with a 45 ± 5gf operating force, providing a smooth typing experience.
Constructed from high-quality PBT material, the keyboard is designed for durability. It features an OEM profile and dye-sublimation printing technology for lasting key legends. Although it lacks backlighting, users can add LED mods as it includes preserved LED slots for customization. The keyboard supports N-Key Rollover for accurate keypress registration and incorporates Akko Macro V1.0 for added functionality, allowing users to create custom shortcuts.
Measuring 380x132x42mm and weighing approximately 0.94kg, the Hello Kitty 3096 keyboard connects via a USB Type-C interface, ensuring compatibility with various devices.
